Cujo Control Dog Training Collar Review

This is my review of the Cujo Control Dog Training Collar

It came already assembled with the nylon collar threaded through the device.  I installed the batteries and adjusted the collar to fit my Siberian Husky, Sampson.  I cut the excess collar and burned the end with a lighter to keep it from fraying.  It comes with a remote control (with 2 AAA batteries).  The color coded buttons with symbols are easy to distinguish.  The yellow button makes a beeping noise.  The blue button makes the collar vibrate.  The red button is for shock.  There is a – and + for intensity control and it has a button option to have another collar (you toggle between collar 1 & 2).  The remote has a strap and a belt clip.  The remote shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve the battery.

The collar is sturdy and has two prongs that stick out to touch the dog’s skin.  You have to put the collar on tight with only one finger width between the collar and the dog- that insures adequate contact with skin and that it does not move around on his neck. It came with two AA batteries.  There is an on/off button on the underside of the collar device.  There is a green indicator light when on and when you turn it off you hold it for about 5 seconds until the red light goes out.

It seems to work well, using all 3 settings.  I use the shock at the lowest setting and the vibrate in the middle.  There are 16 settings 1 being the lowest and 16 the highest.  There is a safety feature that on shock and vibrate if the button is held for 10 consecutive seconds it will automatically time out and it will reset after the button has been released.

It comes with a shock tester and an extra set of prongs.  It also comes with an operating and training guide.  There is online help if needed.  I am giving this collar 5 out of 5 stars.  This collar does what it says it will do.  I look forward to further training my Sampson with this collar.

Mint Bark Collar Review

Mint Bark Collar Review
I ended up getting two very similar no bark collars. The only difference in the two is that one came with a hard case and this one did not. This is a great no bark collar. I like that since it is for a small dog there is no shock. My Babygirl is a Pomchi ½ Pomeranian and ½ Chihuahua. She has a tendency to bark when she hears noise outside. The collar was fairly easy to adjust. I cut the longer portion off and burned the end with a lighter to seal it. Once it was on her I did have to adjust the +/- to the lowest setting. She sometimes has coughing fits (it’s a Chihuahua trait) and it made the collar go off. It is now set to when she barks once or twice it does not vibrate but if she barks more it will vibrate and make the tone. There is a PDF file you can download and a video to watch for instructions and help. It came with two batteries (one of which I inserted into the collar and an extra for later) which is an added bonus.
I give this dog collar a positive 5 star review

Review of non slip antibacterial bathmat deluxe (w/ body scrubber)

This is my review of the non slip antibacterial bathmat deluxe (w/ body scrubber) I received.

I removed the outer plastic packaging from the bath mat and I immediately noticed I did not smell that typical bathmat rubbery smell.  It unrolled easily and I wet down my bathtub and placed the bath mat down.  I smoothed it down and it stuck very well.  It has a chevron pattern.   My bathtub is standard size and the bathmat is just a little short for my tub.  The bathmat’s measurements are 28x16.   The next morning when I showered and got out, the bath mat did not move or bunch up like many others do.  The mat is not soft and does not feel good on my feet.  I felt all the suction cup bumps.  It felt like I was standing on debris.  Over the next few days with myself and husband taking showers the mat did soften a bit where we stood the majority of the time.

It came with a scrubber.  It has a loop so you can hang it up.  On the back there is an elastic band so you can slip it on your hand and scrub.  The texture when dry is scratchy, but once wet the scratchiness is softened and it feels good, like a loofah.

Overall I am giving this bathmat 4 out of 5 stars.  I took one star away because of the initial hardness of the mat.

My First Blog

Hello,

This is my first blog.  I started this blog because I will be doing product reviews and needed a forum to do so.  A little bit about me: I am a wife and mom (of an adult child).  I work a full time job in a large retail warehouse and I also work part time as a Lyft and Uber driver.
I am very open to any suggestions, tips, hints and tricks anyone has for blogging and reviews.  I see reviews my sister does and I will likely mimic many of her techniques.
This is short and sweet so thanks for dropping by and I will see ya soon :-)
